Mulagund Lake is 83 acres lake in Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, Telangana. There are temples, parks and jogging spots near the lake. The lake enhances the natural beauty of Ranga Reddy district in Hyderabad. The lake is in the eastern part of Rajendra Nagar Mandal.

Government Initiatives

Telangana government Took vital steps to recover its water flow. The farmers of the area will use the water of the lake in crop farming. Under the Strategic Nala Development Plan (S.N.D.P.), Appa Cheruvu to Mulagund Lake are under renovation.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation had also taken initiatives in 2020 to reduce pollution. G.H.M.C. had used CC cameras to protect this lake from land grabbing and pollution. The lake surrounds are under construction for spots. The spots are for people to sit and enjoy evenings.
